Undergoing treatment last year was undoubtedly one of the most challenging experiences I have ever faced. Every aspect -physical, emotional, and mental- was incredibly difficult and demanded everything I had. There were times that it felt like an insurmountable challenge, but amidst all the hardships, I clung to hope. The small victories and big milestones kept reminding me that progress was possible even in the darkest of times. Every step forward, no matter how small, was a step to getting my life back. While I was unable to capture everything, here are some snapshots of the last year.
